Jean W. Shaw, of Harwich, Mass (formerly of Westboro, Mass), died at home and went to be with her Lord on Thanksgiving Day November 24th 2016 after a long illness. She was the beloved wife of Donald G. Shaw for 64 years.
Jean was born in Worcester, MA on June 9th 1930. She was the daughter of the late Frances (Seeley) and William B. Wade. She attended North High School in Worcester, Mass and Emmaus Bible School in Chicago, Ill.
She was the loving mother of five children: Lisa Lombardi and her husband...

Jean was born in Worcester, MA on June 9th 1930. She was the daughter of the late Frances (Seeley) and William B. Wade. She attended North High School in Worcester, Mass and Emmaus Bible School in Chicago, Ill.
She was the loving mother of five children: Lisa Lombardi and her husband James of Hopkinton, MA, Donald Mark Shaw and his wife Cynthia of Holliston, MA, Daniel Shaw and his wife Mary of Duluth, MN, Leslie Ferwerda and her husband Paul of Bedford, NH, and Philip Shaw and his wife Rachel of Boiling Springs, PA. She was a wonderful grandmother to 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She leaves a brother, Alan Wade, of Worcester, Mass and a sister, Muriel Pyche, of West Boylston, Mass. She was predeceased by her sister Louise Phelps of Penfield , NY and her brother Malcolm Wade of Middlebury, VT.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 17th 2016 at Christ Chapel, 1200 Old Stage Road, Centerville, MA at 11:00 am, followed by a reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's memory may be made to Camp Berea at www.berea.org.
