Eileen M. Keough of Orleans, beloved wife, sister, and aunt, passed away surrounded by her family after a spirited fight with a sudden illness. Eileen will be remembered by her family for her authenticity, integrity and caring, soft-spoken nature.

Eileen M. Keough of Orleans, beloved wife, sister, and aunt, passed away surrounded by her family after a spirited fight with a sudden illness. Eileen will be remembered by her family for her authenticity, integrity and caring, soft-spoken nature.
Eileen was born, raised, and lived in Springfield, MA until she moved to her vacation home of many years in Orleans upon her retirement. She was the devoted daughter of Daniel and Theresa (McCLeary) Crowley, who predeceased her. Eileen spent her career in banking and retired in 2004 as Branch Officer from Chicopee Savings Bank.
Eileen is survived by her proud and committed husband, Francis X. Keough. They were married at St. Michael's Cathedral of Springfield, MA, in 1985. Eileen and Franny shared a collaborative and caring relationship, based on mutual support and a deep love for each other. Eileen and Franny worshiped at St. Joan of Arc in Orleans.
Eileen was honored to be the daughter-in-law of Patrick J. Keough and his recently deceased wife, Mary C. Keough.
Eileen is also survived by her sister Mary Jean Crockett and husband Paul of Walpole, sister Margaret Gaylor and husband Fred of Feeding Hills, brother Daniel Crowley and wife Catherine of Wilbraham, sister Anne W. Crowley of Boston and Orleans, and brother Michael and wife Elizabeth of Hampden; her brother-in-law Patrick Keough and wife Joanne of Springfield, sister-in-law Ann Keough Fragomeni of Enfield, CT, and sister-in-law Mary Keough of Springfield; niece Caroline Orford and husband Keith, nephew Paul D. Crockett and wife Holly Greenlimb, nephew Phil Gaylor, nephew Joseph Gaylor and wife Sandy, nephew Jeffrey Gaylor and wife Danielle, nephew Will Crowley and wife Kristen, niece Elizabeth Nelson and husband Michael, nephew Daniel E. Crowley, niece Bridget Crowley, nephew Kevin Keough, nephew Christopher Keough, niece Kay Fragomeni, and nephew Joseph Fragomeni; as well as fifteen adoring great nieces and nephews.
A mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 25 at St. Joan of Arc in Orleans celebrated by Fr. John Kelleher. The family plans for a private interment.
